ISO 13485:2016

Freedom attained ISO 13485:2016 certification, which is the Quality Management System for Medical Devices.   The purpose of this standard is to align processes for regulatory requirements for the medical devices industry and applies to organizations involved in any stage of a medical device life cycle. As a distributor, we are committed to being a responsible supply chain partner in regulated industries.   Freedom’s certified processes ensure product quality and prioritize patient safety. Companies that are certified to this global standard are traditionally considered to have best practices in their operation and comply with regulatory requirements to help Customers facilitate their purchasing requirements through trusted sources.

AS9120:2016 and ISO 9001:2015

We demonstrate our commitment to quality by having our quality management program certified to the AS9120:2016 standard.   This certification is for distributors supporting the highly regulated space, aviation, and defense industries and includes all ISO 9001:2015 requirements.   We apply risk-based thinking to our processes, counterfeit prevention, and organizational structure.   Our customers feel confident with their strategic and operational planning as we ensure that order and regulatory requirements are satisfied with delivery of high-quality products.


In August 2022, Freedom USA attained AC-00-56B certification.

Freedom is committed to supporting the civil and industrial aviation industries to ensure safety and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) compliance.   The FAA strongly endorses participation in this program and the certificate represents that our Quality Management System follows best industry practices as an aircraft parts distributor including proper documentation and traceability.   We apply risk-based thinking to our processes, counterfeit prevention, and organizational structure.   We are determined to be a trustworthy partner that stays up-to-date with the latest regulatory requirements in all regulated industries.

AS6081:2012 Certified

Freedom USA is pleased to announce we have successfully achieved AS6081 Certification.

This certifies that Freedom has put in place an Avoidance of Counterfeit Electronic Parts Mitigation System that ensures we have the procedures, policies and standardized practices in place to identify reliable sources to procure parts, assess and mitigate risk of distributing suspect counterfeit/counterfeit parts, control suspect counterfeit or counterfeit parts, and report incidents of suspect counterfeit/counterfeit parts and meets the requirements of the AS6081:2012 standard.

This new certification along with Freedom’s ISO 9001:2015 and ANSI/ESD S20.20-2014 certifications shows our commitment to the highest level of quality and our commitment to ensuring, non-conforming/substandard, suspect counterfeit or counterfeit EEE parts do not enter the supply chain.

 ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021

In 2012, Freedom earned certification to the ANSI/ESD S20.20 industry standard. This states that all components are maintained by an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) program.  All inspections, handling, and shipping processes are performed with these standards in mind.   Freedom's ESD program includes but is not limited to: Proper Flooring, Grounding, Packaging, Wrist Straps, Work Area, Symbol Usage, Climate Control, Worksurfaces, Machine Models, Human Body Models and Charged Device Models.

GIDEP Membership: Cage Code 381R2

GIDEP ( Government-Industry Data Exchange Program) is the centralized source of critical types of information essential to many projects and programs.   The objective of GIDEP is to improve the availability of information for the total quality management of mission critical material.   GIDEP seeks to reduce or eliminate expenditures of time and money and to improve the total quality and reliability of systems and components during the acquisition and logistics phases of the life cycle. Since 1959, over $2.1 BILLION in prevention of unplanned expenditures has been reported. .
