Our Community

Freedom USA strives to be an active leader in the community.   From hosting quarterly blood drives to volunteering with the community, Freedom USA takes pride in giving back to the community that provides us such an amazing area to live in.   Freedom USA employees share the same desire to give back to great causes as well.   They consistently volunteer their time to youth sports and other areas of the community that they feel passionate about.   Freedom has always believed a strong business needs a large community presence to succeed.

Freedom Blood Drives

Upon moving to our current location in 2006, Freedom began scheduling mobile blood drives.   Since March of 2006, we have held successful quarterly drives.   Freedom has held over 60 Blood Drives and has collected over 600 units of blood.   We strongly believe that giving the gift of life back to our community and others in need of help is the ultimate selfless act.

Children Home Network Bike Drive

Freedom recently partnered with several local companies to participate in the 2nd Annual "Children Home Network of Tampa Bay" Christmas Bike Drive.   Freedom was able to donate over 30 bicycles for this cause alone through a donation from a percentage of our sales and Freedom Employees.   The event raised close to 300 bikes to bring smiles and joy to children all across Tampa Bay.   We look forward to working harder to increase our donation totals next year.

Youth Sports

After 10 years of playing volleyball, Sara decided she couldn't leave the court.   While simultaneously working at Freedom, she has returned to her old volleyball club.   She is now coaching the 14 Elite volleyball team at Pinellas Heat.   The team travels all over the United States to play in tournaments.   Sara never thought she would be able to bypass her extremely competitive nature, but the sole feeling of being a role model to the girls she is coaching has become an unparalleled experience.   Like many youth sports Sara's coach played a huge role in the person she is today.   Feeling her own experience truly benefitted who she became as an adult, she has dedicated her time to giving back to youth sports. Being able to do the same for the next generation of girls, help them learn and grow, while molding them into the amazing people/players they will become, is a feeling second to none for Sara.

Charity Event Sponsorship

Freedom USA Employees recently participated in the " Global ETS Golf Classic Fundraiser ".   The event focused on raising donations to help Forest Hills Elementary Exceptional Education Program for children with learning disabilities and autism.   Freedom also made a direct donation to the fundraiser along with sponsoring multiple teams during the event.   The chance to give back to our community along with enjoying our beautiful Florida weather is an experience our employees appreciated and will not soon forget.

For the past 5 years Freedom Sales has sponsored and played in a flag football tournament called " IM LOGAN IT ".   Chris and Elijah have proudly represented Freedom during this charity event numerous times.   The focus of the IM Logan IT Foundation is to inspire young people to achieve good self-esteem by encouraging them to do acts of kindness in their daily lives and mentor this message to other people throughout their schools and communities.   The Foundation also raises money for charities and organizations including local youth sports programs, Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF), and promoting awareness of Tourette Syndrome.

Freedom USA is a huge supporter of our partners locally and abroad.   Freedom recently sponsored a company run soccer league through our partner Flextronics in Mexico.   Freedom donated $2,000 in jerseys for the annual summer soccer league.   Freedom USA is also donating additional jerseys for their upcoming spring league to help show our continuing support.

Fishing Trips

During our off time Freedom Employees like to enjoy the sun and water along with some relaxing fishing. Here is a picture of a recent weekend team building trip.

Animal Rescue

Kim has had the privilege of being a rescue mommy of a beautiful 2-year old lab/pitbull mix through SPCA Suncoast in New Port Richey, FL.   She adopted her as a puppy in a large-scale adoption event where a single day adoption record was set.   Sadly, many other homeless pets do not have the same luck.   Thousands of dogs and cats daily are euthanized due to overcrowding of shelters, declining health, or breed prejudice.   Most shelters do not have the financial means to pay for common pet ailments, such as heartworm, mange, or other easily treatable conditions.   Kim encourages anyone searching for a new furry family member to consider their local shelters as an option.   Save a life!

Team Building

Freedom USA recently held a team building event at Malibu Grand Prix Go-Karts.   The group took their competitive nature to the track and battled it out for top prize.   In the end Chris came out on top.   Congratulations Chris!!

Special Olympics

Freedom USA is a strong supporter of the Special Olympics.   Freedom has participated in numerous events and continues to be active participants when events occur.
